Suzuki Twin Hybrid A.jpg

Suzuki Twin (EC22S). 2003–5 (prod. 10,106). 2-door sedan. F/F, 658 cm³ petrol, 658 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I3 DOHC). Two-seat microcar with short overall length (2,735 mm) and wheelbase (1,800 mm). Flip-up rear window. Well priced hybrid also offered (an extra 5 kW on top of the 32 kW), but neither petrol nor hybrid versions caught on and the Twin became, along with the X-90, one of Suzuki’s shortest-lived models. Lacked power, though a useful commuter car. Minor improvements 2004 and 2005, deleted in August 2005. A recall was announced in 2010 to rectify a potential fault in the exhaust pipe.

Manufacturing location: Japan

Marque: Suzuki
