Subaru Legacy/Subaru Outback (BW/BT). 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/A, 2387, 2498 cm³ (F4 DOHC). Legacy moves on to stiffer Subaru Global Platform (SGP), but looked largely like its predecessor. Decent power from turbo 2·4, less so from base 2·5, a criticism levelled at its predecessor, too. Excellent traction thanks to all-wheel drive. Comfortable ride. Sedan no longer sold in Japan. US sedan production first, from 2019; Outback from 2020. Legacy Outback, as the wagon was called in Japan, made its first appearance there in 2021.
