Subaru Forester (SG/S11). 2002–7 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/A, 1994, 2457 cm³ (F4 DOHC). Launched February 2002, Subaru kept the same formula for the second-generation Forester. Similar looks to SF. A good handler, and Subaru rejected the use of its three-litre engine for maintaining Forester’s abilities. Lowered sporting models available. Still fairly utilitarian, even if interior was upgraded over SF. Sold as Chevrolet Forester in India from 2003.
