Subaru Forester (SF/S10). 1997–2002 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/A, 1994 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC), 1994, 2457 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Rather than a regular car with off-read features, Subaru created a crossover, a taller, boxier vehicle on the Impreza (GC) platform. Usual Subaru virtues of toughness and reliability, but turbo variants thirsty and not that well set up for serious off-roading.

Manufacturing location: Ōta, Gunma, Japan

Marque: Subaru | Model: Subaru Forester | Successor: Subaru Forester (SG)
