The original plastic Saturn, made in a greenfield factory in Tennessee with the intent of beating the imports, namely the [[Honda Accord]]. As the Accord and others grew, Saturn stayed the same size, and even went backwards, with drum brakes replacing discs on some models in the late 1990s.
