One of the rarest Saabs of them all, and the only one to be made in México. Manufactured by GM after the company was sold off, the 9-4X was based on the Theta platform, shared with the Cadillac SRX. The 9-4X exhibited good handling and was well equipped, but acceleration from the three-litre V6 could have been better. Concerned that Saab would be sold to a Chinese buyer, and citing its licensing agreement with Saab’s then-owner Spyker, GM ended production of the vehicle in November 2011.
Marque: Saab
