2013 SEAT León SC.jpg

SEAT León (5F). 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1197, 1395, 1798, 1984 cm³ petrol, 1598, 1968 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). León moves on to Volkswagen’s flexible MQB platform, shared with Škoda Rapid and Volkswagen Golf VII. Shorter by 5 cm, lighter by 90 kg, and wheelbase up by 5·8 cm. LED lights gave it a more upmarket look, while all models agile with acceptable ride. Quality not quite to Golf levels but better than previous León—and considerably cheaper. Available from November 2012; three-door SC shown at Genève 2013, and on sale in April. ST estate from 2013, shown at Frankfurt. Facelift in 2016.

Manufacturing location: Martorell, Cataluña, Spain

Marque: SEAT | Model: SEAT León | Predecessor: SEAT León (1P)
