2010 SEAT Exeo.jpg

SEAT Exeo (3R). 2008–13 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 1595 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1781, 1798, 1984 cm³ petrol, 1968 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). SEAT surprised audiences by revealing that its mid-sized car was not all-new, but a facelifted Audi A4 (B7), its production lines having left Ingolstadt for Martorell. Interior from A4 cabriolet. Facelift penned by SEAT design chief Luc Donckerwolke. Engine mounted ahead of the front wheels, making the car nose-heavy, though SEAT reworked the suspension. More brisk than donor car, especially with new diesel and, from 2010, the 1798 cm³ petrol units. Priced competitively to help soften the blow that this was a rehashed Audi.

Manufacturing location: Martorell, Cataluña, Spain

Marque: SEAT | Predecessor: SEAT Toledo (5P)
