Rosengart Sagaie.jpg

Rosengart LR4FT Sagaie. 1953–5 (prod. n/a). 2-door saloon, 2-door convertible, 3-door estate. F/R, 748 cm³ (F2 OHV). Rosengart addresses the Ariette’s chief weakness, with a CEMEC flat-twin possibly derived from a BMW motorcyle engine. Fibreglass front and rear, after being inspired by a small car company to whom it had rented its premises, but it was not enough to save the company. Evidence of some Sagaies produced before the company folded for good in 1955.

Manufacturing location: Neuilly, Hauts-de-Seine, France

Marque: Rosengart | Predecessor: Rosengart Ariette
