Renault Modus/Renault Grand Modus (J77). 2004–12 (prod. 665,339). 5-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 1149, 1390 cm³ petrol, 1461 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1149, 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Tall version of Renault Clio 3, looking ungainly, marketed as a vehicle with the features of the Scénic mini-MPV and the shorter size of a regular Clio. In the minispace segment. Extended-length Grand Modus from 2008; regular Modus facelifted to match its larger sibling at the same time. Not as practical as the minispace tag suggests and simply a taller version of a B-segment car, much like the Ford Fusion (B226).

Manufacturing location: Valladolid, Spain

Marque: Renault | Successor: Renault Captur I
