Renault 25. 1983–92 (prod. 779,687). 5-door saloon. F/F, 1995, 2165 cm³ petrol, 2068 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. OHC), 2458, 2664, 2849 cm³ (V6 OHC). Executive car from Renault, styled by Gaston Juchet and Robert Opron. Interior designed by Marcello Gandini. During an era when drag coefficients were newsworthy, 25 broke the Cd 0,30 barrier with TS model at Cd 0,28. Voice alerts and steering-mounted stereo controls considered revolutionary at the time. First production models from December 1983 as 1984 models. Turbo 2·5 (after 1985) with engine shared with Alpine A610 coupé. Initial quality glitches early in the run. Formed basis for Renault Premier.

Manufacturing location: Sandouville, Haute-Normandie, France

Marque: Renault | Predecessors: Renault 20, Renault 30 | Successor: Renault Safrane (1992–2000)
