Reliant Scimitar GTE (SE6a). 1976–80 (prod. 3,887 approx.). 3-door estate. F/R, 2994 cm³ (V6 OHV). Dealing with criticism that the SE6 was too soft, Reliant hurriedly released a more performance-oriented version, with firmer suspension and a stiffer chassis. Improved brakes.
