2017 Range Rover Velar.jpg

Range Rover Velar. 2017 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/A, 1999 cm³ petrol, 1999 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2993 cm³ diesel, 2995 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC). Jaguar Land Rover cuts another niche, creating a model on the Jaguar F-Pace platform to fit between the Evoque and Sport. Took name from the prototypes of the original Range Rover (1970–95). Promoted as an avant-garde interpretation of the Range Rover theme, with flush handles and smooth surfaces. Cd at 0,32, the lowest to date. Kvadrat seat material in place of leather. Twenty-two-inch wheels standard. Optional locking rear differential. Standard air suspension for V6 models, Adaptive Dynamics for all. High-tech infotainment to appeal to urban buyers: while Range Rover claimed off-road capabilities, Velar was its lowest and most car-like.

Manufacturing location: Solihull, West Midlands, England

Marque: Land Rover | Model: Range Rover
