While promotional material still referred to ‘Six’ and ‘Rebel V-8’ in reference to engines, these were no longer designations for the compact Rambler line, now with trim levels Custom, Deluxe and Super. Cleaner, more elegant design, with narrower C-pillar, more slanted windscreen and rear window, and simplified front and rear ends. Length reduced by 1·6 in.
Marque: Rambler | Predecessor: Rambler (1958–9) | Successor: Rambler Classic (1961–2)
