F/R, 196 in³ (I6 OHV),...") Rambler Six/Rambler Rebel. 1958–9 (119,000 sold for 1958 only). 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 196 in³ (I6 OHV), 250, 327 in³ (V8 OHV). Compact Rambler restyled for 1958, gaining tailfins and revised front and rear fenders. Hardtop wagon replaced by conventional pillared style, still called Cross Country; hardtop sedan dubbed Country Club. Six gained new OHV engine developing 127 hp. Minor styling and engineering changes for 1959.
