Porsche Carrera GT (Typ 980). 2004–7 (prod. 1,270). 2-door roadster. M/R, 5733 cm³ (V10 DOHC). Driveable supercar, with a potent V10 engine developing 456 kW mated to a traditional six-speed manual gearbox. Carbonfibre sub-frame, and use of magnesium, titanium and aluminium to save weight. Excellent handling, stiff body, but, unsurprisingly, a harsh ride on poorer surfaces.
