Pontiac Ventura. 1975–7 (prod. n/a). 2-, 3- and 4-door sedan. F/R, 151 in³ (I4 OHC), 231 in³ (V6 OHV), 250 in³ (I6 OHV), 260, 301, 305, 350 in³ (V8 OHV). Ventura followed the rest of the X-cars in getting a modern restyle for 1975. Less reliable than equivalent Buick Skylark (1975–9) and Oldsmobile Omega (1975–9), and ride also worse. Ventura SJ began in 1975 as a more luxurious “European”-flavoured variant.
