Pontiac Torrent

Pontiac Torrent. 2006–9 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 3350 cm³ (V6 OHV), 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Chevrolet Equinox (2005–9) with different front and rear ends, and more communicative steering. Base V6 a little underpowered but sufficient around town. Smooth, quiet ride, but disappeared when GM phased out the Pontiac brand. GXP from 2008, with more power, sport-tuned suspension, and bigger wheels.
