Corporate twin to the Chevrolet Citation but with more stylized dash, and some models with sporting SJ trim. Quality issues from the start, with two recalls in the first model year alone, although in theory a sensibly downsized front-wheel-drive range.
Marque: Pontiac | Model: Pontiac Phoenix | Predecessor: Pontiac Phoenix (1978–9) | Successor: Pontiac Grand Am (1985–91)
