1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.jpg

Pontiac Grand Prix (W-body). 1997–2003 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/F, 3135, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV). Pontiac’s mid-size entrant, known for its “wide-track” handling set-up, on another variant of its front-wheel-drive platform. Supercharged V6 at the top of the range, developing 240 PS, though it was old tech compared with sport sedan offerings from Acura and Nissan. Fortieth anniversary model in 2002. Not that well built.

Manufacturing location: Kansas City, Kansas, USA

Marque: Pontiac | Model: Pontiac Grand Prix | Predecessor: Pontiac Grand Prix (1988–96) | Successor: Pontiac Grand Prix (2004–8)
