Pontiac Grand Am

Originally meant to denote a “European”-flavoured offering, combining the luxury of the Pontiac Grand Prix with the sportiness of the Trans Am. The 1978 version was essentially the LeMans with a sleeker nose. A third generation saw the Grand Am name resurface on an N-body compact, and the line grew a little each time with successive generations. Eventually supplanted by the G6.
