1974 Pontiac Catalina Coupé.jpg

Pontiac Catalina. 1971–6 (prod. 858,417). 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop sedan, 2-door hardtop coupé, 5-door wagon. F/R, 350, 400, 455 in³ (V8 OHV). Catalina at its biggest, with soft ride and big trunks, but blunted performance and a lot of weight. Safari wagons officially part of the Catalina range. Annual model changes, with modifications to grilles the most obvious sign, though 1976s were not too different from the 1975s, when bigger revisions were made to the front and rear ends. Average reliability, worsening for the last two model years.

Manufacturing location: Pontiac, Michigan, USA

Marque: Pontiac | Model: Pontiac Catalina | Predecessor: Pontiac Catalina (1965–70) | Successor: Pontiac Catalina (1977–81)
