2000 Plymouth Neon Highline.jpg

Plymouth Neon. 2000–1 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1998 cm³ (I4 OHC). Twin of the Dodge Neon (2000–5) but short-lived, as DaimlerChrysler shut the Plymouth brand. No DOHC engine this time, and the coupé was also history. The last Plymouth car in 2001 was a Neon. Largely the same comments for Dodge apply, although for the domestic market, the Neon lacked some standard equipment at the base level, and, with the short lifespan, never got the four-speed automatic. Side-impact airbags for 2001.

Manufacturing locations: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; Toluca, México

Marque: Plymouth | Model: Plymouth Neon | Predecessor: Plymouth Neon (1995–9) | Successor: Dodge Neon (2000–5)
