2000 Plymouth Neon Highline.jpg

Plymouth Neon. 2000–1 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1998 cm³ (I4 OHC). Twin of the Dodge Neon (2000–5) but short-lived, as DaimlerChrysler shut the Plymouth brand. No DOHC engine this time, and the coupé was also history. The last Plymouth car in 2001 was a Neon. Largely the same comments for Dodge apply, although for the domestic market, the Neon lacked standard equipment at the base level, and, with the short lifespan, never got the four-speed automatic. Side-impact airbags for 2001.

Manufacturing locations: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; Toluca, México

Marque: Plymouth | Model: Plymouth Neon | Predecessor: Plymouth Neon (1995–9) | Successor: Dodge Neon (2000–5)
