1998 Plymouth Neon Expresso.jpg

Plymouth Neon. 1995–9 (prod. 505,308 to end of 1998 in US only). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/F, 1796, 1996 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1996 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Cheeky compact, a twin to the Dodge Neon, and exported as Chrysler Neon. Cute design, with a number of trim levels, but no R/T model as in the Dodge range. Not that well equipped or built; roomy thanks to cab-forward design.

Manufacturing locations: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; Toluca, México

Marque: Plymouth | Model: Plymouth Neon | Predecessors: Plymouth Sundance, Plymouth Laser | Successor: Plymouth Neon (2000–1)
