1991 Plymouth Laser RS.jpg

Plymouth Laser. 1990–4 (prod. 115,981). 3-door coupé. F/F, F/A, 1755 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1997 cm³ (I4 DOHC). One of the three badge-engineered sports’ cars at Diamond Star Motors, with minor differences to Mitsubishi Eclipse (1990–4) and Eagle Talon (1990–4). The least successful of the three. Base with 1·8, RS with 2·0 DOHC, RS Turbo with turbocharged version of the latter powerplant. RS Turbo AWD added with 1992 model year.
