1976 Plymouth Gran Fury Coupé.jpg

Plymouth Gran Fury (C-body). 1975–7 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 4-door hardtop sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 225 in³ (I6 OHV), 318, 360, 400, 440 in³ (V8 OHV). Plymouth renamed its full-size car Gran Fury for 1975, as the smaller Satellite became the “regular” Fury for 1975. Largely the same as 1974, but with the glitches ironed out. Big, soft and heavy, and not as refined as the competition, but still a popular choice with US law enforcement. Not directly replaced, with the Gran Fury name reappearing for the 1980 model year on what would have been considered an intermediate in 1975.

Manufacturing location: USA

Marque: Plymouth | Model: Plymouth Fury | Predecessor: Plymouth Fury (1974) | Successor: Plymouth Gran Fury (1980–1)
