1972 Plymouth Gran Fury Coupé.jpg

Plymouth Fury/Plymouth Suburban. 1969–73 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 4-door hardtop sedan, 2-door hardtop coupé, 2-door convertible, 5-door wagon. F/R, 225 in³ (I6 OHV), 318, 360, 383, 400, 440 in³ (V8 OHV). Plymouth’s version of Chrysler’s ‘fuselage’ cars, with many of the comments for its sister models applying. Floaty ride, plenty of room, with large trunk, and better-than-average handling despite the bulk. Thirsty and unreliable, with the six struggling to move the heavy cars. Wagon dubbed Suburban.

Manufacturing locations: Detroit, Michigan, USA; Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Marque: Plymouth | Model: Plymouth Fury | Predecessor: Plymouth Fury (1965–8) | Successor: Plymouth Fury (1974)
