2004 Peugeot 607.jpg

Peugeot 607. 2000–10 (prod. under 200,000). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1997 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1997, 2231 cm³ petrol, 2179 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2721 cm³ diesel, 2946 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC). Almost forgotten large Peugeot, with styling not to everyone’s tastes, and buyers preferring BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Outclassed dynamically, though computer-controlled active suspension an innovation at the time. Roomy, quiet and reasonably well built. Handling and ride not up to German standards.

Manufacturing locations: Sochaux, Doubs, France; Rennes, Bretagne, France

Marque: Peugeot | Predecessor: Peugeot 605 | Successor: Peugeot 508 (W23)
