Latest revision as of 13:27, 15 June 2021Peugeot 4007 (I3). 2007–12 (prod. 49,000 approx.). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1997, 2179 cm³ diesel, 2359 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC). First Japanese-made French-badged car. Essentially a Mitsubishi Outlander (CW) with a new nose and option of French diesels, making it identical to Citroën C-Crosser. Seems as pointless as the last time the French mixed with an Axis power and got the Vichy régime—created only so PSA could have an entrant in the SUV market. No Peugeot character; typical Japanese execution and detailing, especially in interior. Room for five plus two tiny and not very practical fold-out seats, but not bad to drive.
Marque: Peugeot | Successor: Peugeot 4008 (GA3)
