Peugeot 307/Dongfeng Peugeot 307. 2001–13 (prod. over 3,600,000). 3-, 4- and 5-door saloon, 5-door estate, 2-door coupé–cabriolet. F/F, 1360 cm³ petrol, 1398, 1997 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1360, 1587, 1997 cm³ petrol, 1560 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Cleverly packaged compact car, with a near-MPV silhouette as Peugeot pushed the windscreen forward for interior room. Tall estate called SW (with optional seven-seat version), meant to rival MPVs. Softer than before, in the pursuit of comfort, but less rewarding to drive than 306. Mid-term changes in 2005. French production to 2007, Argentinian production to 2011, but Chinese production continued. Four-door saloon built in Argentina and China only.
