Peugeot 301 (M33). 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1119 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1560 cm³ diesel, 1587 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC). First of a new generation of 1-series Peugeots, reviving name from 1932. Roomy three-box saloon developed for emerging markets, with 2,650 mm wheelbase, with similar idea to Dacia Logan. Ride developed for poorer conditions, and tested in a variety of extreme climates. Turkish sales first, with various European, Middle Eastern, African and South American markets next. Twinned with Citroën C-Élysée (2012–). Facelift in 2016, with more premium, formal look. Iranian production from 2017. Formed the basis of the IKCO Tara in Iran.
