Perodua Kembara

Perodua Kembara. 1998–2006 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/A, 1298 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1298 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Malaysian version of the Daihatsu Terios, built under licence. Mostly identical externally other than the new grille. OHC engine at launch considered underpowered; in 2003, this was replaced with a DOHC unit. Same virtues of a tall body and a centre differential and mechanical lock.
