Opel Commodore. 1972–7 (prod. 140,827, incl 42,279 coupé). 4-door saloon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 2490, 2784 cm³ (I6 CIH). Very highly regarded range, with excellent chassis and a sporting bent. Larger engine did not make best use of the chassis till a fuel-injected version arrived in the GS/E, complete with power steering.
