Corporate version of the X-car, related to Chevrolet Citation, Pontiac Phoenix (1980–4), and Buick Skylark (1980–5). Strong start, because of downsized format and modern styling, but suffered the same fate as its sister cars: recalls damaged the Omega’s reputation, and saw to the end of the nameplate.
Marque: Oldsmobile | Model: Oldsmobile Omega | Predecessor: Oldsmobile Omega (1975–9) | Successor: Oldsmobile Calais
