Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight (C-body/D-body). 1977–84 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 3791, 4126 cm³ (V6 OHV), 4340, 5032, 5737, 6595 cm³ petrol, 5737 cm³ diesel (V8 OHV). Ninety-Eight downsizes for the first time, essentially a twin of the Buick Electra (1977–89). Large trunk, comfortable ride, and roomy interior, with the diesel proving less reliable.
