Oldsmobile Cutlass. 1997–9 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3130 cm³ (V6 OHV). Final fling for one of the US’s once beloved nameplates, now on a single, four-door sedan based around the Chevrolet Malibu (1997–2003), but better equipped. Roomy, and well priced. V6 proved less than reliable, and not as refined as Japanese mid-sizers. Effectively a stop-gap till the Alero arrived.
