DOHC), 3135, 3344 cm³ (V6 OHV). Compact, entry-level Oldsmobile, replacing Cutlass Calais, and related to the Buick Skylark (1992–8). Formal roofline for sedan, coupé slightly sportier. Fours (larger unit from 1996) lacked refinement, and ride was poor on most models; V6s (more powerful 3·1 from 1994) proved smoother with better performance. Well appointed interior. Final model year for civilian sales in 1997, though some were made for fleets to the end of that calendar year, presumably as 1998s.
Marque: Oldsmobile | Predecessor: Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais | Successor: Oldsmobile Alero
