Nissan Sylphy/Nissan Sentra (L12F/B17). 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1798 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 38 kWh electric. Third-generation Sylphy on Renault Mégane III platform, launching in China and Thailand first, without the Bluebird tag for these markets. Japanese launch at the end of 2012 with only 1·8, with Bluebird tag finally laid to rest. Made in more locations this time, and exported to more markets. Sylphy becomes a Sentra in the US, built in Mississippi, with two-litre unit gone; a Pulsar in Australia and New Zealand, from the Thai plant. Swoopier and larger than previous model. CVT meant to be more fuel-efficient. Facelift in 2015: Taiwan received its own facelift in 2018. ZE (Zero Emission) model launched in China in 2018.
