Nissan Sunny (B10). 1966–70 (prod. 453,877). 2- and 4-door sedan, 2-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 988 cm³ (I4 OHV). Nissan realized it need a smaller model for the home market. First Sunny—the name came from a contest—introduced in September 1966, exported as Datsun 1000 to most markets, with A10 engine. Four-door added October 1967; coupé added in October 1968 with 62 hp, as range updated slightly. Very conventional engineering, as with Sunnys to follow.
