Nissan Silvia (CSP311). 1965–8 (prod. 554). 2-door coupé. F/R, 1595 cm³ (I4 OHV). Hardtop version of Nissan Fairlady (S310) with twin-SU-carb 1·6 R-series engine developing 90 hp, designed by Kazuo Kimura with the input of Albrecht von Görtz. First shown at Tokyo 1964. All-synchro four-speed gearbox; reclining bucket seats. Not very successful, overshadowed by Skyline and Fairlady at the time, but strong performance.
