Nissan Primera 1·9 DCi.jpg

Nissan Primera (P12). 2001–8 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1597, 1769, 1998, 2488 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1870, 2184 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Sculptural and very Japanese design for Primera, although styled in Europe, with softer ride and greater comfort. Considered elegant and unusual, with quirks extending to interior, though it never established a new design direction for Nissan. Well equipped. UK production from 2002. Not sold as Infiniti, and the last Nissan mid-sized passenger car range to be sold in western Europe as the company moved into niche vehicles. Last models sold in Japan in 2005.

Manufacturing locations: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England; Japan

Marque: Nissan | Model: Nissan Primera | Predecessor: Nissan Primera (P10) | Successors: Nissan Bluebird Sylphy (G11), Nissan Dualis (J10)
