Nissan Note (E11/E11E). 2004–12 (prod. 940,000 approx.). 5-door MPV. F/F, F/A, 1198, 1386, 1498, 1598 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 1461 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Small MPV on Renault Modus platform, a niche car replacing the Almera line in Europe. Previewed as the Tone show car. Sales began January 2005. UK production from 2006. Mid-term changes 2008. Not that tall, so lower centre of gravity for better handling, but consequently not as roomy as one would expect from an MPV; average ride.
