Renault Modus-based mini-MPV, replacing Almera in European market when Nissan decided to compete in niches rather than mainstream hatchback segments. Not a tall vehicle, so probably better thought of as a boxy hatchback rather than an MPV. The second-generation Note looked more like a hatchback, and had to cover more markets, including North America. Replaced in European markets by the Renault Clio-based Micra. Electrified third generation from 2020.
