Bassara replacement, styled at Nissan’s Californian studios, and highly individual in looks, winning the company several awards. Based on Nissan Teana (J31) platform. Originally aimed at the North American market only, but proved such a hit that Nissan rolled it out worldwide. Murano never hid its urban intentions, despite the big wheels, although ride and steering not the best with some models. Practical interior, despite the svelte looks, while the V6 was smooth and powerful. Mid-term changes in 2005, but, visually, Murano changed little.
Marque: Nissan | Model: Nissan Murano | Predecessor: Nissan Bassara | Successor: Nissan Murano (Z51)
