Difference between revisions of "Nissan March"
From Autocade
Revision as of 14:33, 7 July 2012Nissan’s front-wheel-drive supermini, providing the company with an entry-level model slotting below the Pulsar. The original model resembled the Fiat Uno (146) and there were stories at the time of industrial espionage, but the same complaint could not be levelled at successive Marches. The second-generation model won the European Car of the Year award on launch, the first Japanese car to do so, as well as the same award at home. A more expressive, cute model followed for the third generation, though the fourth became highly conventional—and felt cheaper—as Nissan tackled markets such as India and China.
q.v. Renault Pulse, Nissan Sunny
