Laurel gets smarter, razor-edged looks for the 1980s, supposedly more “European” in appearance. Four-door hardtop drag coefficient measured at 0,38; the coupé was no more. Mid-term changes 1982, including more chrome on the grille and larger bumpers, and the deletion of a six-passenger model with the demise of a column gear-change option.
