Nissan Laurel (日産 ローレル) (C30). 1968–72 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1815, 1990 cm³ (I4 OHC). Nissan creates a model to sit above the Bluebird, with very similar design cues. OHC Prince engines, Skyline independent suspension with MacPherson struts at front and semi-trailing arms at rear. Nissan’s first pillarless hardtop added in June 1970, with two-litre engine; GX model featured 2·0 with SU twin carburettors. The basic two-litre engine found its way to the sedan in 1971.
