1986 Nissan Langley.jpg

Nissan Langley/Nissan Pulsar/Holden Astra (N13). 1986–91 (prod. n/a). 3-, 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 1488, 1497, 1597, 1598, 1796 cm³ petrol, 1681 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Upmarket version of Pulsar, looking more like a junior Skyline with the notchback sedan’s styling. Less boxy and sleeker with the three- and four-door models, though five-door was closer to the Pulsar in appearance. Roughly the same under the skin. Australian Langleys called Pulsars and equipped with GM Family II engines; also badge-engineered as Holden Astra (to 1989, when the Toyota Corolla-based Holden Nova replaced it). Last of the Langley line in 1990; Australian production of Pulsars continued to 1991.
