Nissan Gloria (日産・グロリア) (Y31). 1987–99 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop sedan. F/R, 1974 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1998, 2960 cm³ (V6 OHC), 1998 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 1998 cm³ LPG, 2825 cm³ diesel (I6 OHC). Cedric twin, with class 5 and class 3 variants. DOHC for the first time, with a turbo two-litre engine option (185 PS–210 PS). Independent semi-trailing arm at rear this time for some models; electronic air suspension for Brougham VIP. Mid-term changes 1989. No wagon this time, with Y30 continuing through this generation. Hardtop till 1991, when it was replaced by Y32; sedan soldiered on to 1999, with minor changes in 1991 and 1995. Gloria Cima spun off this platform.
